The 6th December will see the opening of the sixth edition of Bethlehem f’Ghajnsielem, an animated nativity village spread on 20,000 sqm of land. It offers naturalistic reproduction of the environ of Bethlehem and the timeless story of Nativity every December at the area known as “Ta Passi” field in the village core of Ghajnsielem.  Every year the organising committee embarks on innovative ideas to make this event more attractive and realistic.

The Bethlehem Inn in collaboration with Grand Hotel  will be once again offer the visitors an opportunity to spend a night in Bethlehem in the environment of Judea of 2000 experiencing the life of Jesus of 2000 years ago with no commodities and facilities.

Fort Chambray for the first time will feature prominently and will be turned into a Roman fortress with soldiers, horses etc.

This year, all those visiting will also have the opportunity embark into a traditional boat being purposely built and cross in it through a newly constructed 150feet river. This is also a new challenging project for the 2014’s edition, thus being this year’s main attraction.

Another innovation will be an interactive smart phone application narrating the Nativity story while the visitors walk around the sites of the village.
