Yet another successful elderly outing

Many elderly faces the problem of being confined lonely at home day after day without anyone to take them out. Thus, the elderly outings organised from time to time by the Ghajnsielem Local Council are increasing their popularity and greatly welcomed.

Yesterday, the Council organised another outing targeted for the elderly sector.  A group of over 80 persons attended this event.  The outing started with a mass at Nadur Basilica which was then followed by a stroll at the the Nadur market.  Afterwards, the group proceed to Qbajjar where they spent some leisure time by chatting, playing bingo and lotteries and later ended up with the most relishing buffet lunch at a local restaurant.
